Uplift Mentoring's PACE Initiative is a 1-to-1 afterschool mentoring program that matches trained mentors with children who could benefit from a mentoring relationship. Each mentor meets with their mentee at Uplift Mentoring's facility one day a week for an hour and a half. The PACE Initiative helps children connect with a mentor through play-based activities, teaches self-regulation, and helps children build a healthy mindset. Each session is led by Uplift Mentoring’s Head Mentor Coach/Licensed Professional Counselor.
